Cal Bomar has an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and formerly worked as an IRS Chief Counsel attorney in Washington D.C.
While in the I.R.S., Cal Bomar drafted IRS rulings and regulations, and represented the government in litigation matters. After leaving the I.R.S., he worked as a Birmingham, Alabama tax attorney in a large law firm handling their tax litigation for five years. He was a co-founder of an Atlanta, Georgia law firm that provides representation to clients who are faced with IRS litigation or collections.
He currently serves as the President of Pro Tax Relief.
Cal Bomar is frequently sought out and interviewed by television, newspaper and magazine reporters and other journalists on matters involving tax litigation and other I.R.S. issues.
